Vesper for hair salons

The reception

Messages pile up while you do your job

While you're with a client, messages stack up on every channel. Vesper takes the first reply, and leaves you what actually needs you.

The problem: “I don't have time to set up another tool.”

It reads your website and sets itself up

Paste your site's address. Vesper reads every page, finds your services and prices, opening hours, address, phone and team, and fills in your business profile with them. You look it over and fix the few things that need it. Then it's ready to answer.

No website? Pick your kind of business and start from what's typical for it.

  1. 01
The problem: “I can't answer while I'm working.”

It waits when you'd rather answer yourself

Vesper can tell whether you're around. While you have it open, the bot either answers as usual or stays quiet and leaves the reply to you; if you haven't answered in 2, 5 or 10 minutes, it takes the message. Each person sets this for themselves, and when you're all away it answers on its own.

  2. 02
The problem: “I don't want a bot talking to my clients all day.”

It works the hours you give it

Set the hours when the bot stays quiet, say the mornings you're at the desk, and it switches itself back on when they end. When you're closed, it can answer as usual, answer and say the team is away, or wait until you open. One switch pauses it on every channel.

  3. 03
The problem: “A bot will sound like a bot.”

It sounds like one of your team, or like a bot. You choose.

Give it a name and a tone. Call it Mila and let it write warmly, the way you would, or have it introduce itself as your assistant and keep things short and formal. It answers from your services, prices and rules, so either way it sounds like your business.

  4. 04
The problem: “I wouldn't trust a bot with a complaint.”

It knows what isn't its to answer

You name the situations that are yours: complaints, discounts, anything medical, an emergency. The bot hands those over with a short note on what the client wants, marks the urgent ones, and stops replying. It never promises what your rules don't allow.

  5. 05
The problem: “What if it says the wrong thing?”

Any conversation is yours in one tap

Take over and the bot stops in that chat until you hand it back. You see everything it wrote and every step it took. When it hands a conversation to you on its own, it tells you why.

The calendar

One calendar that fits how your day really runs

Your whole team's schedule in one place: appointments, people, rooms and real working hours. It works on its own; the bot just books into it.

  1. 1

The right person, the right room

A service needs someone who can do it, and often a place or a tool: a massage table, a dye station, the one chair by the sink. Vesper books all of them together, so two clients never need the same thing at once.

  2. 2

Time to clean up, time to get there

Add clean-up or drying time after a service and the calendar keeps it free. For work in the field it counts the drive between jobs and areas, so an electrician isn't expected across town in fifteen minutes.

  3. 3

It only offers times that are really free

Before it suggests a time, the bot checks the calendar of the person who does that service, for as long as the service takes. Bookings you add yourself, from a call or a walk-in, are in the same calendar, so nothing is promised twice.

  4. 4

A sick day without a morning of phone calls

Mark someone as off, or yourself if you work alone. Vesper finds the appointments it affects, offers each client a new time or a colleague, and lets everyone involved know.

  5. 5

Empty hours get a last-minute offer

When a gap is still open close to the day, the bot offers it to the clients most likely to take it, such as those who are due for a visit or asked about that day.

The client list

Every client, and everything they've asked for, in one place

Everyone who writes becomes a contact, with a history you can read and act on. It earns its keep with or without the bot.

  1. 01

A contact list that fills itself in

Everyone who writes gets a profile, with their name, their channels and a phone or email. Instagram today, WhatsApp next month: it's still one client, with one history.

  2. 02

What they asked for and what they booked

Each profile keeps the conversations, the appointments and your notes. You see how often a client comes, what they usually book, and with whom.

  3. 03

Leads you can pick up again

See who asked for a price and never booked, who is due for a visit, and who hasn't been back in months, and write to them from the same place.

  4. 04

    Reminders, when you choose

Set how many hours or days before the appointment each reminder goes out. The client gets it where they wrote to you, or by SMS or email when that channel can't reach them.

  5. 05

It writes when a client is due, with a real offer

The bot knows a men's cut lasts about four weeks and a colour about eight. When a client is due, it writes with their own time: “Your usual Thursday at 17:00 is free next week. Want it?” That is easier to say yes to than “we miss you”.

Alone or with a team

For one person, or for a whole team

If you work alone

The reception you never had

You do the work, answer the messages and keep the diary, all at once. Vesper takes the reception: it answers, books and reminds while you work, and covers for you when you're ill or away.

  • Clients get an answer while your hands are busy
  • Your calendar fills without you picking up the phone
  • A sick day is handled: clients are told and offered new times
  • One login and one plan, nothing to manage
Try it for yourself

If you have a team

One reception for the whole team

Everyone has their own calendar, services and clients, and Vesper keeps them straight. Conversations and bookings go to the right person, and each person sees what is theirs.

  • Clients book a person by name, or whoever is free
  • Your rules send each conversation to the right colleague
  • Roles for owners, the reception, and staff who see only their own day
  • When someone is off, their appointments are moved or covered
  • Add everyone at no extra cost
Try it with your team

How it works

Up and running in an afternoon

  1. 1

    Give it your website

Paste the address and Vesper reads your services, prices and opening hours and fills in your business profile. No website? Start from a profile that's typical for your kind of business. There are no scripts or decision trees.

  2. 2

    Connect your channels

Connect the Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Viber and Telegram accounts you already have, or add a chat to your website. Your clients keep writing where they always have.

  3. 3

Let it answer, step in any time

It replies in the client's language, at the pace and in the tone you chose. When a conversation needs you, it hands over and stays quiet.
